Thanks From " dangergirll &  Jejjgor8npc

This is a pressed or molded horn straight razor showing the bust of young George Washington "E. Pluribus Unum", eagle with stars above eagle.  Also shows Charles DeSecondat, Baron De Montesquieu  who lived in 1689 - 1755 and was famous in French History.  Additionally it shows Voltaire which is a pseudonym for Francois Marie Aromet.  He lived 1694 - 1788 and was a famous French author who wrote Candide, the Satirical novel.  Finally, Edward Preble, Commodore of U.S. Navy who won the Battle of Tripoli in 1804 is shown on the razor. ref.440.89

RARE PRESSED HORN STRAIGHT RAZOR w / MONARCHS c.1810/20

Thanks To  "blade3"

This is an early c1810/20 pressed horn straight razor. The scales are decorated with European Monarchs. The front side of the handle shows Louis XVIII A Bas le Tyran and George Prince Regent of England. The pale side of the handle shows Roy de Prusse Frederic William and Empereur Alexander. The blade is not marked or not marked anymore. The scales show some little wear around the pivot pin and a little chip at the other pin on one side. The pins and pin collars are original but the pivot pin collars are nearly gone, please see fotos. The leather covered box is excellent. The box is marked Charles Beinhauer Hamburgh, the other side shows an emblem with a shield and crown, a lion and a unicorn. I belive the box belongs to the razor. (ref.207.52)
